Review of Excalibur (1981) by Paul C — 25 Feb 2008
One of my all-time favourites - a visually stunning film, with small appearances from future acting greats. The scene with where Arthur leads his knights into one final battle, through a rejuvenated British countryside to the strains of Orff's 'Carmina Burana' is worth 5 stars alone.
