Gauri Shinde masterfully makes a heartwarming film about a woman who is looked down upon by her own family because she doesn't know English and her journey to earn respect. It's the small things in this movie that make it such a delight to watch.
Each dialog, expression, costume, etc. has been paid such careful attention to. All characters have been developed excellently. Songs are terrific. The film is not at all preachy, melodramatic, or larger than life.
