Review of Enduring Love (2004) by Cresswell S — 10 Mar 2008
I went to see it as part of a double bill, following Atonement. I mostly went there for Atonement, and thought I would just leave the cinema if I didn't like the other one. So wrong.... The story could be read from different angles, depending whether you're into Jesus, mental health issues, homosexuality, or Darwin.
To me it was a moving story of a man whose intellect allows him to explore this very unromantic and uncomfortable, biological aspect of love. Superb performance from Daniel Craig, who had my undivided attention for the whole 90 odd minutes.
I could never understand what women see in him -until now, that is. Isn't he the hottest man alive? And he can act.
