Review of Endgame (2015) by John P — 29 Aug 2016
AS A BROWNSVILLIAN, nothing hits home more than his movie! Even I found myself sitting at my school desk only to bed recognized as the little sister of the trouble making yet ALL STAR FOOTBALL PLAYER. I was never called by my name but by "his little sister".
To this day I am nothing like him. Brownsville is well known for it poverty and immigration issues. We all know it. So when we are recognized for something positive we are ecstatic! I just want to thank everyone that was involved in making this movie.
You showcased Brownsville in a wonderful inspiring way. I am proud to be From a town that, although we are bound to fail against all odds, we triump through the oppression. BROWNSVILLE IS THE ULIMATE UNDERDOG.
