Review of Elephant (2010) by Mercedes B — 25 Apr 2009
You must be an extremely sensitive, intelligent being with an appreciation for film and art. And you must know the true pain of being the outcast in highschool. Or just any emotional pain in general. This film is not for the closed-minded or the judgemental.
It's very delicate and raw. One of my favorites. I try to see all of the movies with the topic of school shootings, and I haven't found that many, as it's a controversial subject, but this one was really good.
It should be shown in schools to show what happens when you break a kid everyday. One day they don't take it anymore. It's reality that most people deny.
