Review of El Norte (1983) by Pavandeep S — 24 Sep 2008
If there is a movie that a director can make and feel proud of, it is this, especially if this social commentary intrigues and interests you. I find that in narratives, you can create genuine emotions, emotions that can stifle and cut you up.
This film did that, I lost all sense of myself watching this. I have nothing to say but to admit this film is utterly marvelous.
