Review of El Dorado (1966) by True Dirt F — 22 Dec 2010
This is one of the best westerns I've seen next to the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. It is one of the best John Wayne films as well. It has a great story, great action, good suspense and a stand-up cast.
Robert Mitchum is superb and James Caan is a great addition. Wayne, Mitchum and Caan work together really well. Even though the movie is over 2 hours long I still wish it was longer cause it is just that excellent.
