An unfinished black-and-white comedy written, directed, and co-produced by Quentin Tarantino. Shot on 16mm between 1984 and 1987 while he worked at Video Archives, the film was originally about 70 minutes long, but a fire destroyed much of it—only 36 minutes survive. It follows Mickey, whose girlfriend just left him, as his friend Clarence tries to give him a birthday he'll never forget.
