Review of Eden Log (2007) by James C — 19 Jul 2009
Fantastic music and visuals made this movie instantly tense, with one of the best horror introductions I have ever seen Eden Log made a mark for itself... before wiping it all away with a bad screenplay and some wacked out monster fights.
The story is alright, and it's well told, but as stated the dialogue is terrible and the sound design for people's voices could use tightening up. An improvement, sincerely, would be to take out all of the dialogue. The first 20 minutes of visually led plot were as intense as ever, whenever the actors shut up the film got good.
