Review of Eddie: The Sleepwalking Cannibal (2012) by Timothy J — 28 Jun 2012
Lars and the Real Girl, Fargo, Let The Right One. The director cites these as major influences on this Canadian-Danish horror comedy, my penultimate offering of Edinburgh 2012. Channeling aspects of each of these movies, Eddie finds a tone that's equal-parts playful, gory and humorous, without reaching the heady-heights of cult-classic.
If only the gore-loving opera DJ had a greater role...and his own show in real-life!
