Review of Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield (2007) by Frankie H — 24 Mar 2007
I saw a trailer for this movie on the DVD for Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave and it looked really bad. Thankfully I can say it was a bit better than the trailer led me to believe. By no means is this the best serial killer movie ever made, it's decent.
The gore in the film looked better than most in low budget horror flicks. I thought that Kane Hodder was a fine choice for Ed Gein and he didn't do a bad job. He certainly surprised me. Either way I thought it was somewhat decent, it could have been worse.
If you decide to miss this movie you won't be missing anything revolutionary so watch at your own risk.
