Review of Dying Breed (2008) by Japes . — 22 Nov 2010
While this Australian Deliverance/Texas Chainsaw Massacre knock off offers little in the way of anything new, it does do it what it does well. It's well directed, well acted (within the limits of certain tropes) and offers it's share of gratifying gore.
Certainly, compared to most of the films that come under the After Dark horror banner, it's a mini masterpiece. If you like this kind of thing, it's a decent entertainer. If you don't, this isn't going to change your mind.
