Review of Dus (2005) by Sharmista R — 18 Feb 2008
Forgettable action flick with improbable moments and occasional silliness. Incorporating Hong Kong-style over-the-top heroics as seen via Hollywood, Dus's ridiculousness is its eventual undoing; you can't take it seriously, nor does it go far enough to be funny (as in Shoot 'Em Up).
That said, seeing people magically being able to jump up buildings is a spectacle that has to at least be seen to be believed.
