Review of Dreamchild (1985) by Mallory B — 17 Jan 2008
Simply brilliant. A dark and magical look at what Lewis Carroll might have been like...the scene where he tries to tell Alice he loves her actually made me cry. It is such a taboo subject, but told with such love and adoration through Ian Holm's fabulous interpretation of the character you don't even mind (well.
..only a little bit. It does get awkward). Oh, and there are muppets in it. And Peter Gallagher.
