Review of Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972) by Matthew L — 15 Oct 2010
After the superb 'Scars of Dracula' this is a strange entry in Hammer's franchise, as competent a director as Gibson is he's no Roy Ward Baker. The modern day setting is diverting and probably the best direction the franchise could take after the high of 'Scars' and is quite a fun film even though it hasn't aged as well as the earlier entrees.
The funky soundtrack and fashion certainly don't help either, one for purists only.
