This movie was a misfire. First off, it felt more like a synopsis of a TV show that lasted three years than it did a movie. Secondly, the characters were the best part of this movie, and rather than dwell on those really interesting characters, it kept shoveling on more and more plot.
Seldom will I say that a movie has too much plot, and this movie does. The comedy was pulled off with grace and aplomb, but the drama was handled ham-handedly. I was disappointed.
