Review of Ditto (2000) by Giffy G — 10 Oct 2009

I did not expect this to be a tearjerker. However, by the end of the movie, I was reduced to tears and a complete wreck. It is so rare to see a love story that decides that there are things more important than romantic love.

The self-sacrifice these characters put themselves through was emotionally devastating, and I'm glad I got to see it. The acting was superb, but the pacing nearly killed me. If I had to watch one more scene of my main female lead walking around sadly, I was liable to scream.

I get it; she's sad. But I was already crying, you didn't need to make the scene that long. A beautfiul, if slow, movie.
