Nasty, brutish, and short. "Dillinger" burns with reckless abandon. More noir-esque than a true film noir, but without a doubt a great example of low-budget guerilla film-making. Lawrence Tierney is very impressive as Dillinger, no doubt bringing his own real life temperament into the role.

The film is more interested in the violence and brashness of Dillinger's career, rather than focusing exclusively on historical fact. I can't say it's a well-made film (it's a "no-budget" movie after all), but it's entertaining and provides a nice distraction.
