Review of Diana (2013) by Mark N — 27 Jan 2014
?Diana" brings the last two years in the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, played by Naomi Watts, when she meets and falls for Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan (Naveen Andrews). The couple go to extraordinary measures to keep this a secret from the press and from the world but ultimately their romance is not to be.
The movie has been slammed by critics, but I quite enjoyed it. Who knows if they events depicted are accurate but, regardless, it shows Diana?s essential insecurity and loneliness. And Naomi Watts does a good job playing the most famous woman in the world.
