Review of Demonic Toys (1992) by Larry Y — 20 Jul 2014
Well now, this certainly is a loaded b-movie! Plenty of genuine WTF moments, awesomely cheesy creature effects and and impressive grue make this Full Moon picture highly enjoyable. While this is definitely not scary per se, it has a few minorly creepy moments, but for the most part, this movie is very darkly funny.
I personally preferred this over a majority of the Puppet Master entries, and found the toys to be more entertaining than Blade and his gang. Lastly, the acting was believable enough, given the scenarios, and Tracy Scoggins and Daniel Cerny steal the show.
This is a fun, silly, late night popcorn movie.
