Review of Degrassi Goes Hollywood (2009) by Matt H — 10 Sep 2009
The first actual Degrassi movie since 1991's School's Out is not a disappointment (especially considering that the season it falls under is the worst since season four of Degrassi High.) The film works best when the attention is focused on the much missed Stacy Farber and Jake Epstein.
It is a funny film, mostly due to Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, but the film also has a lot of heart and some raw emotional scenes which the show is famous for delivering. A great movie for fans of the show, and I think might appeal to non-fans as well.
