Review of Dead Rising: Watchtower (2015) by Tig N — 10 Aug 2015
Since it is based on a video game that portrays zombies excellently, as an unstoppable hoard that has no human features beyond hunger and can't be reasoned with I don't understand why the movie opens with two zombies who are able to use weapons ( one uses an axe with surprising dexterity and another uses a gun, it is stupid, at least with day of the dead it was shown as some sort of evolution of the zombie, here it is just a throw away idea that does nothing but harm the movie.
) and have personality as can be seen when the cop zombie is hit in the head with a fan he smirks at the fact he hasn't been killed showing way too much thinking on part of the zombies. If you are going to make a film about zombies, know how the work and stop looking for a cheap cash cow.
