Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Madeline S — 02 Dec 2006
I loved this! The framing device, whereby a supernatural Jonathan Pryce comes to dying Cole Porter and they re-live scenes from his life, was a bit clunky, but Pryce and Kline were both great. Ashley Judd was much too young for Linda, but she was so beautiful! I loved the musical numbers.
Everyone who left the theater with us said how much they enjoyed this movie -- I don't know why it was a failure.
