Loved this movie!!! What a beautiful film Days and Nights is. I was deeply moved by it. It was shot beautifully and everyone in it was terrific. The script was the right balance of elevated and “modern” language.
I enjoyed the theatrical spirit that infused the ensemble work. I loved the updating to 1984, and the hints to AIDS without the double underlining (a terrific choice), the video installation piece, the sense of living at a turning point in time that was recognizable but not nostalgic.
The music was achingly lovely. As was the whole film.
