Review of Daydream Nation (2011) by Kimberley S — 16 May 2011

I FINALLY got to watch this movie. I've been looking for it for weeks. The performances were great overall, slightly overwhelming at times, but nonetheless good. The script was a well-written narrative in an interesting cross-cutting-between-time kind of way.

The characters pretty well-developed in a short time. The cinematography was dreamy, as well as the soundtrack (as it should have been since the film's namesake is a Sonic Youth album). Overall, wonderful first movie from first time director Mike Goldbach.
