Review of Day of the Fight (1951) by Marc-Olivier M — 19 Jul 2009
DAY OF THE FIGHT is a short documentary about a boxer named Walter Cartier as he goes about his day preparing for the fight that lies ahead. This film holds special historic value because it is the very first film from the legendary Stanley Kubrick.
While it may not be of any great artistic value, it still holds a high level of importance, which is why it gets four stars.
