This movie made in Hong Kong is really disturbing, especially when watched without subtitles. The storyline is more or less an instruction manual on how to break someone. Violent scenes of abuse and scenes with a cheerful humor style alternate uncomfortably, with what seems like a semi-competent police investigator leading the investigation.
