Review of Darkon (2006) by Ed H — 13 Jul 2008
What appears to be a documentary about LARP nerdom ends up as a surprisingly touching film about the frustrations of workaday drudgery, the anticlimax of "adult" life, and the liberating power of imagination.
I did wince once or twice at the goofy geekiness of it all, but the film was less sideshow spectacle than I had expected and far more human.
