Marisa Tomei does an exceptional job of playing her role. I can see why the ratings are relatively low because most people want to be entertained rather than seeing some hard reality regardless of how well played.
It took me 3/4 of the movie to figure everything out so hang in there. It all comes together in a way only the mind can make better. This role truly shows Marisa's range of acting as exceptional without relying on her looks.
