Dabang 2 tries to stick to the entire formula of the predecessor as if not sure what worked and could be improved. As a result, it adds nothing new and falls flat unlike the first one which partly worked for the unique, bold entertainment.

With less ups and downs around Salman's family and love story and far inferior songs, the movie would fail to enthuse most fans of such stories even if they do not compare with Dabaang 1.
