Review of D-Tox (2002) by Bryan W — 29 Nov 2008
I really have nothing worthy to say about this one. And it's not that I have a poor ability to gather words in order to form a coherent text, or that I think whatever I may have to say is not worthy of people's attention. It's just that this movie is so plain and dull and basic that there's really nothing substantial enough to say on its behalf.
Nonetheless, they were there, they worked really hard (yeah, they actually did... they were sweating like pigs and Stallone's head veins were popping out like crazy... no, I said veins, not brains... that would be impossible), they tried like hell to make a thriller out of this movie, and - more importantly - they didn't make me puke.
So, one star for not making me have to mop the floor and another one for the remaining reasons.
