Review of Crossfire (1947) by Jacob O — 31 Jan 2011
"Crossfire" is essentially a message movie, comparing the emotion of hate to a loaded gun, but that's what makes it exceedingly interesting. We know who the killer is from early on and the rest of the film is a character study examining the murderer's motives.
It's not quite noir, but the performances are fantastic from each and every cast member and the dialogue is great.
