Review of Crazy Moon (1987) by Gaul W — 10 Mar 2010
It's no surprise if nobody's really ever heard of this movie, it's one of Kiefer Sutherlands earliest movies and it was only released on VHS which is hard to find, but I was lucky to catch it on the Movie Network (thank god!).
Crazy Moon is a highly underrated love story about a quiet, odd guy with retro tastes that falls in love with a good hearted girl who is deaf. His family goes against this, but he stays patient with the girl as he tries to learn to communicate with her and teach her to speak, while she in turn teaches him to overcome his fear of water and swimming.
It's a nice movie, despite a few things not going into depth like they should that would've made particular aspects of the story make more sense.
