Review of Crazy Eights (2006) by Wes S — 21 Mar 2012
When a group of friends who have known each other since childhood meet up at the funeral of one who died, the deceased friend had a dying wish for them to visit an old time capsule from their childhood. But when they find a skeleton of a young girl inside along with all their childhood belongings it forces them to remember traumatic events from their past. Following the clues from their deceased friend leads them into a condemned building where they get locked inside with someone who wants them dead.
This is a supernatural thriller with a mediocre plot, uninspired acting, and several stupid and pointless decisions from the characters. Overall the HORRORFEST 8 FILMS TO DIE FOR movies are hit and miss, this is not one of their better films.
