I've read several Tony Hillerman novels and like these characters. Still, the pace is so laid back and easy-.
Going it seems to take forever to unfold. The mystery is not deep, but the story does have a couple of twists. There are several of these starring Chee and Leaphorn. I'll probably give them a try.
