The fact that this film came from a debut director is amazing enough, but the skill with which is made proves that Kogonada is a man who is here to stay, a true artist in a world where there seems to be less of them than there are.
Columbus is a film that reflects truth in a way that elevates said truth to the level of art and beauty, it is not one to be missed.
