Review of Colt .45 (1950) by Paul D — 17 May 2014
Randolph Scott is selling a new fangled gun than can shoot more than once, the titular Colt .45. When a pair of his sample guns are stolen by an outlaw, this leads to a crime spree that Scott sets out to stop.
Lots of action an double crosses ensue. Lloyd Bridges has a supporting role as one of the caddis and Alan Hale has a rare role as a villain. Overall, it's a pretty standard oater, but there's enough action and western stars to make it entertaining and worth checking out for western fans.
