One of my all-time faves! Tommy Lee Jones deserved an Oscar for his portrayal of this violent, racist, alcoholic, drug abusing, womanizing baseball player that is Ty Cobb. I actually went out and bought the book after seeing this film.
For those who have not seen it, please be advised there is very little baseball in this film...it is more a study of character...
