Both leads, especially Fricker, have done excellent work, and were troupers here, but the improbabilities and ginned up situations started piling up into an unsightly heap of mismatched "bits" that made the whole thing look like it was written by committee.

After an hour in I wouldn't've been surprised if Godzilla had entered stage left, tap dancing.
