Review of Cinemanovels (2013) by Facebook U — 02 Nov 2015
I'm not sure how to classify this one. Hilarious moments. Boring moments. Shocking moments. Sexy moments. Depressing moments. The film seems to be a moquerie of films and cinephiles. The hero girl is like a lazy bum, psychopathic and lucked out by having a revered dad.
But she doesn't care for much. It works as a comedy, a bit insane on the edge. Philosophically, the film does not hold water. It is materialism that doesn't care. It is psychopathy imitating passion to soil it.
It is the very nature of the english invasion.
