Taylor Hackford might be best known as the director of Ray or Dolores Claiborne, but here he directs a rough and entertaining concert film with guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Little Richard, Linda Ronstadt, Bo Diddley and others.
Chuck Berry comes off as a very private man, and maybe not the nicest guy, but the music is great and it's interesting all the way through. If you're a fan of Chuck or early rock this really is worth watching.
