After the attempted social reflection of "Despuà (C)s de Lucia", Michel Franco goes much further with its abstraction about death and its weight on life in "Chronic" where the nearness of death and empathy create a deep bond between characters, turning the script into an intense and condensed reflection about human relationships, but exceeded, a bit, by its contemplative pace and unnecessary ending.
