Review of Chris Rock: Tamborine (2018) by Nilufer R — 18 Feb 2018

Wow, the hate for this special is not surprising. But still amazing that people don't get it's comedy and Chris Rock is trying to be edgy. I'm a white male and an independent voter and I watched this special with my Black friend.

YES, the bit on Whitey made me a little uncomfortable and I did feel there was some genuine hate in that bit. Chris is an edgy and one of the best comics of our time, so I respect his comedy and appreciate his insight as a Black man in the US.

But the rest of the Special is Damn good! He's gone through a lot since his divorce and you can feel his bitterness about that situation. This is a great special, but prepare yourself to be a little offended especially if you are a white person.
