Review of Child of Glass (1978) by Bill T — 14 Oct 2014
I LOVED this film as a child. It's a perfect way to introduce a young one to all things creepy without scaring them too badly. it is a real, old fashioned ghost story complete with a murder mystery, a curse, a hidden treasure, and an antebellum plantation house. your kids will probably love it. it made such an impression on me that years later as an adult I could still remember the riddle used to set the spirit free: "sleeping lies the murdered lass. vainly cries the child of glass. when the two shall be as one' the spirit's journey will be done.".
what is the child of glass? spoilers....
