Review of Chelsea Walls (2001) by Diana K — 12 Jun 2007
This movie is NOT for the average American moviegoer. It is as much poetry, art, as it is film. The acting is beautiful, as is the gritty camera work, and the dialogue is raw and choppy in some places, and smooth and poetic in others.
It is a movie for the artist, for the poet, and for all who appreciate language, colour and subtle expression, not for the average person who thought Spiderman 3 and the new Star Wars were actually good.
