Review of Cavalcade (1933) by Ryan D — 17 Nov 2009
I could not get into this one at all. The way it skipped through the ages to hit every single tragic turn of the century event (the family loses one member who drowned on the Titanic, the other dies in World War I) makes it hard to get into the flow of the film.
Plus I also found it powerfully boring. I can't imagine this being the best film of 1933 at all.
