Review of Caught in the Web (2012) by Dandan Z — 09 Aug 2012
Watched it because the film is set in my hometown - Ningbo. I held quite a low expectation before viewing it, as Chen Kaige's last fantasy movie The Promise was completely a disaster. This one, however, turned out to be much better.
It evolves arounds a small incident, and touches on several burning issues right now happening in China.
