There?s a fine line between a dysfunctional family and an eccentric family. This story is as fine as they come. Shirley MacLaine is awesome as the high octane Grandma Mirabeau. Carolina (Julia Stiles), her beautiful granddaughter, jumps ship in search of a quieter life and lands in the middle of a love triangle. The casting is perfect and Shirley flat shines.
