Review of Capone (1975) by Brad G — 30 Mar 2011
Entertaining Roger Corman produced gangster epic depicting the rise and fall of America's most notorious thug. Ben Gazzara is absolutely fantastic with his bulging rage eyes. Not quite as brilliant as Warren Oates' similarly themed Dillinger, but how can you not enjoy that exploitation charm? Nice bit parts from Sly Stallone, Dick Miller, and John Cassavetes.
