Carlos the CANNIBAL falls in love. Trouble follows. This elegantly directed film from Spain may have more on its mind than comes across but ultimately the film feels empty. Featuring a really sensational performance from Olimpia Melinte in a dual role, one wishes CANNIBAL could meet in execution its very high minded and metaphorical ambitions.
